My experience is its easy to get bad traffic. Just pay some guy $50 and he’ll send you a bunch. But you won’t sell anything. This sort of traffic is not targeted.
The right traffic is generated with content. Thats what people look for online and being of service to that agenda positions the entrepreneur favorably.
If we are promoting money making stuff here’s what people want:
– something for nothing
– easy, no-risk big money
Unfortunately this approach mostly attracts looky-loos, broke people, tire kickers, the incapable, and the unmotivated. These are not the right people. Don’t pay much for this kind of traffic. Its best if it comes as a byproduct of targeted traffic generation strategies.
If we actually want to attract people who have some capital and the sense to start a business, we could be offering them:
– quality information with minimal hype
– free or cost-effective reources that will help them succeed at their business venture.
